Wonderful Quality Victorian Burr Walnut Centre Table
A fine quality early Victorian burr walnut centre table with superb decorative carved base c.1860. The semi oval top with choice cut quarter veneered burr walnut finish and moulded outer edge; matching burr veneered apron sat below. The base with four moulded serpentine legs in two sections adjoined by a turned boss to the centre. Each leg with floral carved decoration and moulded scrolled ends, the feet with original brass and porcelain castors. Superb quality and condition with an even colour and excellent polish, very sturdy and useable: can seat up to 6 if used as a dining tab...le. Measures 50" long x 32" deep x 28.75" high.
