A quality original George III oak 8 day longcase clock with engraved brass and silvered dial to the bell striking movement. Well proportioned case with figured timbers , original decorative jappaned panel below swan neck pediment. Tuned pillars to the hood and matching quarter columns to the trunk. Made by Winstanley of Wigan C.1770. Fully overhauled movement. Full working order. Measures 86" high. x 19.5" wide max. x 10" deep at the hood.
