William & Mary Period Oak Joint Stool c.1700
A William & Mary period oak joint stool with scalloped carved edge top c.1700. The hand sawn top with scalloped decorative carved ends, sat over channel and grove top rails with turned legs set to the... corners. Base stretchers supporting the legs, each leg stamped ' I T ' probably the original owners initials. Presented in good condition with some minor very old age related repairs, excellent colour and patina. Measures 18" long x 11" deep x 20" high. Stock number 37862.
