William IV Silver Mug
A heavy William IV solid silver mug with Rocco style decoration and gilt lined interior, hallmarked London 1837. Flared rim with bellied base and decorative rim forming the foot. The base of the vessel with embosed and hand chased floral decoration in the Rocco style, matching chased decoration to the foot. Cast silver scrole design handle set to the side and immaculate gilt lined unused interior. Bear's the makers mark for London silversmith Charles Fox II along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.5" diamet...er x 4.75" wide inc handle x 4.25" high. Stock number 40792.
