William IV Silver Book Vinaigrette
A William IV period engraved silver vinaigrette in the form of a book, hallmarked Birmingham 1836. The superbly detailed exterior with engraving to each side, curved and ridged spine with rope twist to the inside edge. Opens to reveal a used gilt lined interior with fretted cover to the inner compartment. Bears the makers mark by Taylor & Perry. Presented in good original condition. Measures 1" long x 0.75" wide x 0.25" deep. Stock number PS
