A superb original William & Mary period walnut chest with fruitwood strung panels and book matched veneers throughout C1700. Quarter veneered top with circular fruitwood strung panel, book matched ven...eers to the front two over three drawer formation. Fruitwood strung circular panels to the top drawers and two panels to the lower drawers. Sat on the original moulded plinth with complimenting turned bun feet. Matching book matched veneers to the sides with circular fruitwood strung panels. Decorative brass fittings and complimenting lock escutcheons. Superb original rich colour and patination. Measures 36" wide x 23.5" deep x 34.5" high. Stock number 35610.
