A quality George I style figured walnut kneehole desk with original brassware and polish c.1900. Book matched figured walnut top with herringbone banding, crossbanding and moulded edges. Long shall...ow drawer sat below the desk top, with three graduated drawers sat either side of the kneehole; all with figured veneers and banding to match the desk top. Additional shallow paper drawer with apron sat to the top of the kneehole with recessed cupboard below. Moulded plinth to the base with original bracket feet below. Original engraved brass fittings and escutcheons, with working locks and keys. Superb quality and condition with an original colour and patina. Measures 30" wide x 19.5" deep x 30.25" high.
