Victorian William Comyns Silver Top Scent Bottle
A large Victorian silver topped scent bottle with cut crystal base by highly regarded maker William Comyns, hallmarked London 1887. The spherical cut crystal vessel with hobnail design decoration and engraved silver collar above. The spherical top with central hinge and snap opening is embossed and engraved with floral decoration. Opens to form an internal well to hold spills and original ground glass stopper to the centre. Bears the makers mark for William Comyns along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and with pe...rfect crystal ware. Measures 4" diameter x 5.25" high. Stock number 41095.
