Victorian Walnut Ting-Tang Bracket Clock
A late Victorian walnut cased 8 day bracket clock with 8 day ting-tang striking and brass and silvered dial c.1890. The solid walnut case with cushion top and wide moulded cornice below. Bevelled g...lass door to the face and broad moulded plinth to the base, plus bevelled edge glass to the view windows on the sides. Decorative gilt brass decoration to the case with matching finial to the top. Brass and silvered dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, complementing gilt brass spandrels to the corners of the dial. The 8 day German movement with anchor escapement and ting-tang striking to the quarters; fully serviced and working. Measures 11.5" wide x 7" deep x 19" high to top of finial. Stock number 39862.
