An immaculate Victorian figured walnut jewellery box with original fitted interior c.1880. The figured walnut exterior with slightly domed lid, polished brass inset handle to the centre. Bevelled edge glass hinged door to the front with polished brass lock escutcheon, working lock and key. The lid opening and the hinged door opening to the right to reveal an immaculate original fitted interior, buttoned silk inset to the lid (click here to view a video of this jewellery box). Fitted lift out tray to the top for h...olding rings, chains and watches, with a silk lined compartment below. Three additional drawers below, each with original silk lined interior and original polished brass handles. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina. Measures 10.75" wide x 7.25" deep x 8.25" high. Stock number 39284.
