Victorian Walnut Fusee Dial Clock
A Victorian walnut cased 8 day English fusee dial clock with 14" dial in superb original condition, fully serviced and working c.1900. Turned walnut surround sat around the 14" dial with matching walnut back box, access door to the base and side, securing pegs to either side. The original painted dial with Roman numerals and makers name Thos Russel & Son, Liverpool to the centre. Polished hinged brass bezel with original glass and catch release forming the door. The 8 day single fusee movement with tapering plates and anchor escapement. Presen...ted in excellent original condition with a rich polish, fully serviced and working. Measures 18" diameter overall x 14" dial x 6.5" deep. Stock number 40501.
