Victorian Walnut Cheval Mirror
A superior quality Victorian solid walnut cheval mirror with carved decoration and original bevel edge mirror glass c.1885. The long moulded edge mirror frame with swept arch top, carved decoration... to the centre section and original quarter plate bevelled edge glass in excellent condition. The stand with moulded slightly tappering uprights, carved decoration to the upper halves and leaf and flower design finials to the tops. Burr veneers and pie crust moulding to the base stretcher with moulded and carved cabriole legs sat each side. Panelled and polished walnut back to the adjustable angle mirror to allow free standing, original castors to the feet and superb original colour and patina. Presented in excellent original condition. Measures 20" wide x 18" deep at the foot x 67" high. Stock number 42085.
