Victorian Walnut Cased Fusee Dial Clock
A Victorian walnut cased 8 day single fusee English dial clock with original painted dial, fully serviced and working c.1885. Broad moulded surround to the dial in solid walnut with matching back box, access door to the base and side. 8 day single fusee movement with anchor escapement, stamped W&H to the back plate. Original painted dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands set behind a glazed view window set in a hinged brass bezel forming the door. Fully serviced and working, presented in good original condition with some minor touching up to the dial and an excellent polish to t...he case. Measures 15.5" diameter x 12" dial x 6.5" deep.
