A mid Victorian burr walnut dome top card box with brass trim and bone decorative playing cards to the lid c.1875. The quality burr walnut dome top box with fretted brass decoration to the lid inset with three bone playing cards; matching fretted brass lock escutcheon to the lid. The hinged lid opening to reveal an original fitted and lined interior with two sections to hold the playing cards and a centre section for storing dice and counters. Excellent quality and presented in superb original condition with a rich polish, complete with 2 packs of cards, dice and counters ready to... use. Measures 8" wide x 5" deep x 4" high.
