Victorian Turned Golden Oak Barometer
A quality Victorian aneroid barometer with solid golden oak ring turned design case, fully serviced and working c.1885. The deep solid golden oak cased with ring turned sides and moulded front. Porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge; the letters in ornate script with a coloured first letter and complementing design to the dial centre. Aneroid movement sat behind the dial and polished brass bezel with glazed view window and central reading marker to the front. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Meas...ures 7.75" diameter overall with a 5" diameter dial x 2.5" deep. Stock number 41733.
