A quality Victorian timber gilt oval mirror with original finish and quarter plate mirror glass c.1885. The broad carved and fretted scroll design surround with shell mount to the top and matc...hing decoration to the base. Moulded inner edge sat around the original quarter plate bevelled edge mirror glass. Excellent original gilt finish throughout, the original mirror in excellent condition, boarded back with secure wall hanging fixings. Presented in excellent original condition. Measures 27" wide x 2.25" deep x 39" high. Stock number 40432.
