Victorian Solid Oak Aneroid Barometer
A Victorian solid oak aneroid barometer c.1900. Beautifully shaped oak case with carved decoration and brass hanging loop to the top. Aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial with weather predictions in ornate script and a central decoration. The dial sat behind a glazed view window mounted in a polished brass bezel with centre reading marker. Superb quality and original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 6.25" wide x 2.5" deep x 8.5" high. Stock number 37114.
