A Victorian polished brass cased marine barometer with skeletonised movement and crescent thermometer, fully serviced and working c.1885. Dished brass case incorporating hanging loop to the t...op and matching brass bezel to the front with glazed viewing window with central reading marker. Skeletonised android movement visible to the centre of the dial with weather predictions to the top half of the dial and original mercury action crescent thermometer set to the bottom half of the dial. Superb quality and presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 5.25" diameter x 6.25" high including hanging loop x 2" deep. Stock number 42013.
