A top quality mid Victorian solid silver ' trick' vesta case, hallmarked London 1870. Reeded edge with rounded corners and inset plain polished sides. The trick hinged opening side opened by putting p...ressure on one edge to open it at the opposite side. Opens to reveal a gilt lined interior. Bears the makers mark for William Sumner. Measures 2" long x 1.5" wide x 0.4" deep. Stock number 36516.
