Victorian Silver Travelling Ink Well

A Victorian solid silver topped traveling ink well with cut crystal base, hallmarked Sheffield 1899. The heavy quality solid silver top has an engine turned finish with reeded edges. The hinged opening top also includes a screw locking catch and leather seal. The cut crystal base has chamfered edges with a star cut into the base. The ink well bears the makers mark for John Hunter and is presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.25" long x 1.5" deep x 1.5" high. Stock number 38029.
