Victorian Silver Tea Caddy
A quality Victorian silver tea caddy with embossed and engraved decoration, hallmarked Sheffield 1897. The solid silver caddy formed in classical tea caddy style with hinged dome top, engraved and embossed gadrooned decoration to the surfaces and ebony finial to the centre forming the handle. The slightly tapering sides with matching gadrooned decoration to the lower half and floral panels to the front and rear; small bun feet to the base. The hinged lid opening to reveal a clean interior. Bears the makers mark for Sheffield silversmith Henry Stratford along with clear hallmarks to all... sections. Presented in immaculate unused condition. Measures 3.25" wide x 2.5" deep x 3.75" high. Stock number 41486.
