A stylish late Victorian solid silver photograph frame with embossed decoration and ribbon design crest to the top, hallmarked Birmingham 1900. The silver surround embossed with stud design decoration, cast silver ribbon design crest to the top. The silver face returning around the sides to meet the solid oak back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Henry Matthews along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Takes photograph 4.5" x 3.5". Measures overall 4" wide x 5.75" high. Stock number 40180.
