A Victorian solid silver calling card and stamp case with superbly engraved floral decoration in mint condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1894. The heavy quality solid silver case with matching floral sprays to both sides set against an engine turned background. Rounded sides and corners with push button catch release. The hinged case opening to reveal an immaculate original pale tan lined interior with sections for calling cards, stamps and coins; original matching solid silver pencil sat in a holder to one side. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Deakin & Francis along wit...h clear hallmarks to all sections. Superb quality and presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 4" wide x 2.5" deep x 0.75" high. Stock number 41531.
