Victorian Silver Blotter and Stamp Holder
An unusual Victorian silver blotter and double stamp case by Levi and Salaman, hallmarked Birmingham 1890. The decorative deep embossed reeded design top with matching handle to the centre. Two hinged compartments to each side with matching design. Each opens to reveal a gilt lined comparment for storage of stamps. Sat on an ebonised timber base for holding blotting paper. Bears the makers mark for Levi & Salaman. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 4" long x 2.5" deep x 2.25" high excluding handle. Stock number 35676.
