Victorian Silver and Crystal Claret Jug
A Victorian solid silver topped and cut crystal claret jug in mint condition, hallmarked Sheffield 1899. The solid silver top with deep collar and hinged domed lid with torch design handle to the top. Cast angular handle to the side with scroll design decoration and thumb plate to the top, pouring spout set to the side. Hobnail cut crystal vessel in perfect condition with star cut base. Bears the makers mark for Sheffield silversmiths William Mammatt & Sons along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 5.25" wid...e at the widest point x 9.25" high. Stock number 40938.
