A fine quality Victorian solid silver aide memoire with engraved exterior and original blue silk lined interior complete with silver pencil, hallmarked Birmingham 1884. The heavy quality solid silv...er case with engraved floral sprays to both sides of the exterior, push button release and twin flanges set to the side to aid opening. The hinged case opening to reveal an immaculate blue watermarked silk interior with calling card wallets to both sides and aide memoire to the centre held closed with the original matching solid silver pencil. The pencil removing to open the pages of the memorie, each bone page with engraved day of the week to the top. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths George Unite along with clear hallmarks to all sections. The finest quality and presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 3" wide x 4" high x 0.25" deep. Stock number 41531.
