A Victorian ships bulk head 'Life - Buoy' barometer on the original polished walnut plinth C.1890. Polished brass case with flange attaching to the turned polished walnut plinth. Enamelled dial bearing the retailers name, Cox, Plymouth & Devonport. Life - Buoy symbol to the centre. Sat behind a bevelled edge glass with central reading marker. Rapid indicating aneroid movement in full working order. Superb condition with a deep shine. Measures 10.25" diameter x 3.5" deep. Stock number 34347.
