A Victorian polished oak ship's barometer retailed by Selfridges of London c.1900. Solid oak rope twist design case with a superb patina, engraved silvered dial bearing the retailer's name 'Selfrid...ge of London' and 'Original Ships Design'. Brass bezel surround with inset bevelled edge glass and centre reading marker. Fully serviced and in full working order. Measures 9" wide x 2.75" deep x 10" high including brass hanging plate.
