Victorian Russian Silver and Niello Scent
A fine quality and very collectable Victorian period Russian solid silver and Niello decorated scent with matching clip c.1900. Circular form with domed sides and narrow neck, push fit globular lid to the top. The body of the vessel with fine quality leaf and scroll design Niello decorated inlays. Eyes set to each side holding the securing chain for the vessel and lid, clip to the top of the chain with matching Niello decoration for securing to a chatelaine. Bears Russian silver marks for c.1900. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 2" high x 1.5" wide, clip me...asures 0.75" diameter. Stock number 37910.
