A superb quality Victorian double ended scent and smelling salts bottle with ruby glass vessel and silver gilt tops c.1880. The faceted ruby glass vessel with two sections, the larger for scent and th...e smaller for smelling salts. Fine quality cast silver ends with decorative castings original gilt finish, the perfume end with hinged opening end, press catch release. The smelling salts end with screw top and internal silver collar. The silver ends unmarked, typical of this type of item but tested as silver. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 5" long x 1.25" diameter. Stock number 38032.
