Victorian Repeating Carriage Clock
A superior quality Victorian gilded brass Gorge case 8 day carriage clock with striking and repeating movement, fully restored and working c.1890. The gilded brass gorge case with bevel edge glass to all sides and full sized view window to the top. White porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands in perfect condition. The 8 day movement with original escapement and gong striking on the hour and half hour, repeater button to the top. Bears the makers name White Paris to the movement back plate. Fully overhauled and working, presented in excellent condition with perfect glasses.... Measures 3.75" wide x 3.25" deep x 5.5" high and 7" high with handle up. Stock number 39161.
