A Victorian polished brass cased carriage clock with porcelain dial and chiming movement with repeater, fully restored and working c.1890. The polished solid brass case with oval view window to the top and folding carrying handle. Rounded corner pillars to all four corners and moulded base with apron foot below; original bevelled edge quarter plate glass all round. The porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals in perfect condition, plus matching original blued steel hands. The Paris made 8 day movement with original platform, striking on the hours and... half hour on a gong, repeater button to the top of the case. A short video of this clock chiming is available to view via our YouTube channel. Fully overhauled and working and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine.
