Victorian Planished Silver Sovereign Case
An immaculate Victorian planished silver sovereign case, hallmarked Birmingham 1894. The circular solid silver case with rounded side's, planished finish and blank cartouche to the front. Hanging loop to the top with press button catch release to open the cover set within. The case opening to reveal an immaculate interior with engine turned spring loaded disk to hold the sovereigns in place. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths A & J Zimmerman along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Superb quality and presented in immaculate condition. Measures 1.25" diameter ...x 1.75" high including hanging loop x 0.5" deep. Stock number 41527.
