Victorian Painted Country House Deed Box
A Victorian mahogany country house deed or table box painted to resemble a Georgian town house c.1880. Hinged lid to the top with decorative brass carrying handle to the centre. The sides superbly later painted to resemble a Georgian town house with portico around the door and plants set to the sides. Opens to reveal a clean interior. Rich colour and superb patination. Measures 11.5" wide x 8" deep x 5" high. Stock number 38649.
