Victorian Oval Cased Four Glass Mantel Clock
A top quality Victorian polished brass cased oval four glass mantel clock with decorative porcelain dial and 8 day French gong striking movement, fully serviced and working c.1885. Polished brass oval case with hinged door to the front and rear and original quarter plate bevelled edge bowed glass panels in perfect condition to each section. Cream porcelain enamel dial with floral swags decoration and Arabic numerals sat in a decorative cast brass bezel. The 8 day Paris made movement with anchor escapement and gong striking on the hour and half hour and original mercury c...ompensating pendulum. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Measures 8" wide x 6.5" deep x 11" high. Stock number CB1309.
