Victorian Oil Painting of a Grey Mare
A superbly painted Victorian oil on canvas depicting a grey mare in stable, sat in the original moulded satinwood frame c.1875. Painted with excellent detail and likeness with the grey mare to the centre ground looking down at a sitting dog; hay on the ground and stable building outline in the background. Sat in the original moulded burr satinwood frame with inner gilt slip. Presented in excellent clean condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 23.5" wide x 18" high. Stock number 40706.
