Victorian Oil on Canvas Icon of an Apostle

A Victorian oil on canvas Icon of an apostle, set on an oak panel, dated 1885. Solid oak panel with fielded edges to the rear, canvas adhered to the front with a painting of an apostle, halo above his head. Superb colours and condition, difficult to read description in pencil along with date to the rear. Measures 6.25" wide x 11.75" high. Stock number 41290.
