Victorian Oil Cockerel and Hen
A charming mid Victorian oil on canvas depicting a hen and a cockerel against a farm yard setting c.1875. Well painted hen with cockerel watching over to the side, coup set behind with landscape in the background. Set in the original broad moulded timber frame with simulated walnut finish. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich patina to the painting and frame. Measures 15" wide x 13" high x 1.25" deep. Stock number 39811.
