Victorian Oak Visible Works Banjo Barometer

A small late Victorian visible works polished oak banjo barometer c.1890.  Porcelain dial surround with decorative lettering and visible aneroid movement to the centre. Cast polished brass bezel with inset bevelled edge glass, reading markers set to the centre. Porcelain thermometer scale above with mercury action thermometer.  Carved decoration to the solid oak casing. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Measures 7" wide x 2.25" deep x 22" high. Stock number 39697.
