An unusual Victorian solid oak three bottle tantalus with games and shot glass drawer to the base and silver plated fittings c.1885. Moulded half round top bar sat over shaped sides, drop down front r...ail to release the decanters and shallow drawer sat below. Decorative cast silver plated carry handle to the top and matching silver plated mounts and escutcheons. The locking flap falling to release the three original cut crystal decanters with matching stoppers; catch release drawer opening with compartment for cards and dice, three original cut crystal shot glasses housed to the right hand side. Working locks and original keys. Presented in immaculate condition, the glassware in perfect condition and the case work and mounts with an original patina and a deep shine. Measures 14" wide x 16" high x 5" deep. Stock number 36711.
