Victorian Oak & Silvered Tilting Three Bottle Tantalus
A Superior Victorian antique oak and silver plated three bottle tantalus with unusual tilting opening mechanism c.1880. Three original cut crystal decanters with matching stoppers in perfect condition.... Tilting decorative silver plated frame holding the decanters, drops forward on release of the key and snaps closed to secure the decanters. Matching silver plated bar across the top with engraved carry handle. Sat in a shaped polished oak frame. Sold with working lock and key. Measures 15.5" wide x 6.25" deep x 13.25" high to the top of the handle.
