A top quality Victorian rope twist design oak cased ships barometer with thermometer to the dial, in fully serviced and working c.1885. The turned and carved golden English oak case with with ...carved rope twist design boarder sat around the dial. Porcelain dial with original mercury action thermometer sat to the bottom half of the dial, bears the makers name Fournet, Ludgate Hil, London. Cast polished brass bezel with quarter plate bevelled edge glass covering the dial, reading marker pointer sat to the centre. Presented in superb original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 7.25" diameter x 2.25" deep. Stock number 39974.
