A late Victorian oak and silver plated horse racing themed pen and ink stand c.1900. The golded oak base fashioned in the form of a horses hoof, with a detailed cast silver plated horse shoe m...ounted to the surface. Faceted cut crystal ink well set to the centre with a silver plated jockeys cap forming the lid, the brim of the hat forming the opening flange. Matching silver plated pen holder to the rear and small bun feet to the base. An unusual item, ideal as a gift for horse racing lovers, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 5.5" wide x 6.5" deep x 4" high. Stock number 39133.
