A superb and complete Victorian oak and brass trimmed gentleman's after dinner tantalus with games drawer and original glassware c.1880. The polished oak exterior with decorative fretwork corner trims..., central panel to the lid and lock escutcheon, match carry handles to the sides. The lid lifting and the front falling to reveal a superb original fitted interior and contents comprising of: Three cut crystal decanters and matching stoppers along with two glasses all in mint condition; Three small silver plated coasters or nut dishes and a matching serving tray; Central tray holding two packs of cards, counters and cribbage pegs for the board held in the mirror back lid; Pull out cigar drawer to the inside of the lid. Presented in immaculate and complete condition with a superb original polish. Measures 14.5" wide x 11" deep x 14" high. Stock number 38381.
