A superb Victorian mahogany country house box with painted decoration depicting a Georgian town house c.1870. The hinged lid with rounded edge sat over planked sides with small sleepers forming the f...eet. The face and sides superbly later painted to look like a Georgian town house with sash windows and portico around the door. Brass carry handles to the sides. The lid opening to reveal a clean interior with small open compartment to the side. Excellent condition and polish and presented in good condition. Measures 16" wide x 10" deep x x 10.5" high.
