A Victorian period solid oak country house bottle and tray box with fitted interior and later painted exterior resembling a Georgian town house c.1880. Polished golden oak exterior with hinged lid,... brass carry handle to the top. The sides later superbly painted to depict a Georgian town house with excellent detail. The hinged lid opening to reveal a fitted interior with spaces to hold bottles or decanters and two side compartments to hold serving trays, later lined worn red felt. Presented in excellent condition with a good patina to the exterior and a used interior. Measures 14" wide x 11" deep x 12.25" high. Stock number 38812.
