A Victorian solid oak cased banjo barometer with superb detail c.1880. Porcelain dial with coloured lettering and maker's name J. Bullock of Chippenham, Wiltshire. Polished brass bezel wi...th glazed view window and centre reading marker. Silvered thermometer scale with mercury action thermometer set above. Foliage carved decoration to the small proportioned solid English oak case. Superb colour and patina, fully serviced and in full working order. Measures 24.5" long x 8" wide x 2.75" deep.
