Victorian Oak Cattle Horn Dinner Gong
A Victorian figured oak dinner gong with silver plate fittings and cattle horn supports c.1890. Stepped figured golden oak base with decorative silver plated mounts to the corners and a rest for the original gong striker to the front. Matching pair of Highland cattle horns with silver plated mounts mounted to the surface in a moulded oak mount, the original silver plated gong suspended in between. Excellent quality and condition with immaculate fittings and a rich patina to the woodwork. Measures 8" wide x 8" deep at the base x 17" high x 11" maximum width. Stock nu...mber 40261.
