Victorian Oak Aneroid Barometer with Crescent Thermometer
A superior quality Victorian turned and carved oak cased aneroid barometer with porcelain dial and crescent thermometer c.1880. The deep turned golden oak case with decorative carved geometric design border. Aneroid movement sat behind a porcelain dial with mercury action crescent thermometer below. Glazed bevel edge view window with central reading marker knob to the centre set in a polished brass bezel. Fully overhauled movement and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 9" diameter x 3" deep x 5" dial size. Stock number 38383.
