Victorian Oak and Silver Plate Three Bottle Tantalus
A quality Victorian solid oak and silver plated three bottle tantalus with original cut crystal decanters c.1885. Figured oak base and shaped sides with high quality silver plated tilting decanter frame and retaining bar to the top. Matching silver plated decorative corner mounts and locking mechanism; engraved carrying handle to the top. Original numbered hobnail cut crystal decanters with matching stoppers in excellent condition. Bears the makers name for Sheffield silversmiths Walker & Hall. Presented in excellent condition with working lock and key, the silver plate in good condition and a... deep shine to the woodwork. Measures 13.5" wide x 5" deep x 12" high including handle.
